Blanket Weather -

It is getting cold outside!  Can you feel the cold weather starting to replace our long, warm days?  I have been finding more blankets around the house and they sure feel good.  It has been a cold and snuggly weekend.  I hope you enjoyed a blanket this weekend.

So sorry I haven't posted for a while.  I spend alot of time sleeping now that I am not a kitten anymore.

But I promise to post more cute pictures for you to see and read about.  I want to share with you all the neat cat things I do.

What I did this summer . . .

Sat in the blue chair . . .

 

 

Looked out the window . . .

 

 

Sat on Mom's iPad . . .

 

 

Played hide and seek . . .

 

 

Looked out the back door . . .

 

 

Stretched out on the floor . . .

 

 

Climbed in the kitchen cabinet . . .

 

 

Slept in the dog bed . . .

 

 

Got my head stuck in the chair . . .

 

 

Tried to drink from Mom's cup . . .

 

 

Napped on two chairs . . .

Yawned a lot . . .

 

 

Slept behind the iPad . . .

 

 

Let Bubbles clean my head . . .

 

 

Decorate the dining room table . . .

 

 

Use both chairs again!!!

 

That was my summer!  What did you do?

Summer is for Sleeping in!

Are you enjoying your summer?  Are you sleeping in late?  Enjoy and sleep in late.  Summer is almost over and the alarm clock will be ringing.  YIKES!!!  I better keep on sleeping!!!

 

New Summer Toy!

Surprise!  We found a new cat toy in the house today.  It is a cat tunnel.  My brother, Bubbles, and I had a ball exploring it and running through it.  It even makes a crinkly noise when you walk in it!  Summer is a great time for new play toys.  What new toys do you have this summer?

Since I can't go outside, I will just stay here at the screen door and watch you have a wonderful summer!

 

Remember to keep your brain active and read some good books.  Might I suggest -- "The Cat in the Hat", "The Mystery of the Missing Cat", "Warriors: Cats of the Clan" or how about "The Cat Came Back".

I'll do the laundry

I'm all ready to help with the laundry.  But I am having a hard time opening the washing machine.  I see my Mom open it all the time.  It looks easy.  Why can't I get this machine opened?  

I'm confused!

What does my toy say?  Can you please read it to me.  Do you think this is my toy?  I am a cat and I say "MEOW"!  Who do you think this toy belongs to?  I still like this toy and will take a little nap with it next to me.  See you later!

Newspaper

What's so cute about the newspaper?  I watch my mom read and read and read.  Do you like to read?  I have a feeling reading is very important, but for now, PLEASE PET ME!!!

D is for December and Dusty

Look at me! I am on a calendar for the month of December.  I hope my Mom hangs this calendar in her computer lab.

Very Blustery Day!

 What is all that howling I hear?  It woke me up from my nap.

 

I went to the windowsill and saw leaves blowing everywhere.

 
 

Leaves were flying high and low.

 

I spent most of the afternoon looking out the window and watching all the leaves dance.

 

After a while, I decided to climb back up on my chair.

 

Nap time again.

 

Just Me and My Bro!

Do you have a brother?  Maybe you have a sister.  It is nice to have someone in your life that you care about and just like to hang out with.  I really like my brother, Bubbles.  We hang out together and even sit in the same chair.  That is pretty special!

 

Hanging out at the window is fun to do together.

 

Pink!

What is this pink cloth covering my favorite glass table?  It looks like something fun is going to happen.  I better keep a close watch.

Footsie!

While taking my nap under the curtain, my foot felt something soft.  It was Bubbles.  We both love this sunny spot by the window.  Great napping place!

"Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!"

It's sooo cold in the house.  Mom doesn't want to turn on the furnace yet, so I have been trying to find places that will keep me warm.  I tried to snuggle under Giget's cute little dog blankets, but the floor was still cold.  I found all this warm laundry fresh from the dryer.  It feels good and even reminds me of when I lived on the front porch and hid under the peoni bushes.  I am not sure if I like this cold weather or not.
